Is camp Fimfo a large water park?
No, Camp Fimfo is a camping resort with camping at the heart of the experience. Camp Fimfo strives to be a backdrop to lasting memories of togetherness in the outdoors through elevated accommodations and attractions.
Each Camp Fimfo location offers different types of attractions. Camp Fimfo Catskills will not have any large water slides that require tubes like at our Texas Hill Country location. The planned water features for Camp Fimfo Catskills are a water playground with two small body slides, a wading pool, and hot tubs.
How will Camp Fimfo impact traffic?
The maximum occupancy of Camp Fimfo Catskills will decrease the current maximum occupancy of Kittatinny by 17.34%. This decrease is a result of changes to the campsite types, which have lower individual site occupancy.
Current Kittatinny guests typically camp on the weekends for the duration of 2-3 days. Camp Fimfo guests typically stay for 4-5 days compared to current Kittatinny guests and are more likely to camp during the week. This change in booking habits should spread out the concentration of traffic throughout the week.
